阿尔兹海默症（老年痴呆症）的真相 Truth about Alzheimer's
Repost @dr.jaena #Hope for #Dementia
In September of 2019, I took my mom to the ER. She experienced an emotional breakdown, anxiety, confusion, loss of balance, tremors, dizziness, and panic. It was as if her nervous system crashed, and her short-term memory was gone. She was a glimmer of the mom I knew.
She was in the hospital for six days and after all the battery of tests, the only finding was low sodium. The Doctor told us that she would need 24/7 care from this point on.
For the next year, my mom was dealing with
?OCD: organizing her purse for several hours or our house.
?Hallucinations: Seeing things or people that are not there.
?Delusions: Believing that someone is trying to steal her stuff or someone is following her.
?Insomnia: Staying up all night and sometimes roam around the house to look for something.
☹️Repetition: Constantly asking the same questions over and over again.
?Loss of short-term memory: Can't remember dates, what she did, what you said, or who watched her that day.
?Panic and anxiety: Leaving the house was a huge trigger and would take 15 to 30 minutes to get her out.
☹️Confusion: She wouldn't know where she is or what she is doing.
?Diminished coordination and motor function: She would lose her balance and felt dizzy often.
?Scavenger hunt: It was always a game to find our things or her things because she would hide them. She's very good at it.
I looked into my mom’s eyes and could tell she was just not in her body. She told me one day, "My mind feels empty. I don't know what I am doing. I feel like I'm stupid."
It's been a year and a half since her hospitalization, and my mom is healing. I can look into my mom's eyes and see that she is here. She is happier, calm, and more at peace. Many of the symptoms I mentioned have diminished or gone away.
It's easy to feel helpless when someone you love is given a diagnosis with no known cure or hope. I want to say thank you to Spirit of Compassion and @MedicalMedium for giving us the tools and information that gave us guidance, direction, and hope for my mom's healing. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Lastly, thanking God for leading the way and answering our prayers. ?❤️?
Food matters. My mom has had perfect blood work since applying @medicalmedium info. We had a hiccup this last month realizing that she wasn’t getting enough healing foods. Instead, she was eating more high fat/protein meals which is a huge no no for healing the brain and body. It showed up with her recent bloodwork. As much as it was frustrating, we now have proof that we need to stay true to the #medicalmedium guidelines I customized for healing her Dementia symptoms. The good news is she hasn’t regressed. I give credit to celery juice, Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie, and Divine intervention. My mom tells me that she dreams of my Dad all the time so he must be helping her. We’d be lost without Anthony William aka
@medicalmedium and Spirit of Compassion’s help. ?What I’ve noticed when she stays at our house is that she’s happy, calm, helpful, and grateful. She’s interactive, asks for what she needs, and makes fun of the kids. She’s being their Grandma and enjoys her time with them.
She would always ask me if I need help in the kitchen. I’m always in the kitchen. ?
Last week, she helped me with dinner. She was being mom as usual. We made a traditional Filipino dish, Sinigang. I tried to make it more
@medicalmedium friendly by adding lots of vegetables and no msg. She still remembers the ingredients and instructed me on how to cook it. After dinner, we watched Beethoven. She laughed throughout the movie. At the end of the night, she felt tired and went to bed on her own. What a night and day difference since two years ago. We were given very little hope of her improving in any way. She was in a very dark place. As you can see, my mom shows us there is always hope and light! You can see it in her eyes.
Healing takes time. Keep going everyone!
Blessings, love, and joy,
Puma is reading to Grandma. It’s amazing how she can focus, be more present, and calm. This was not the case two years ago.
Grandma even thought the book, See the Dog, was silly.
Her healing continues. Dementia can improve. I would recommend following @medicalmedium protocol on Alzheimer’s/Dementia in the Cleanse to Heal book.
What do we try to stick with when she stays with us?
✅Grazing on glucose/fruit/critical clean carbs every one to two hours
✅Low fat to no fat meals with lots of vegetables.
✅Mineral salts from leafy greens either in a smoothie or a salad
✅Coconut water and hydration
Those are pretty much the basics along with hugs, love, and compassion.
